[LCtalk] Stage picture and alignment

First :-

The tutorial shows a stage picture with lanterns rigged above it. But 
it doesn't explain, as far as I can see, how to create the stage 
picture or get it into LCedit.

So how's it done?

Second:-

When you "rig" lanterns they can end up looking a bit untidy. Is there 
a way to align them nicely. Again the stage picture shows channels 1-78 
lined up precisely so it looks like it must be possible.
