Hi I hoped it would be possible to control the lanbox LCM via midi using LCEdit. (instead of using the rs232 serial port). In LCEdit, the Configure Interface dialog shows an empty dropdown list for the midiports (who are working on my system, MAX (amongst others) sees them). When I power up the LanBox, the display shows two horizontal lines, meaning (I suppose) that the box knows it should be controlled by midi, but I guess that's because it recognises the adapter hardware-wise. Any insight will be greatly appreciated! ( It's very hard to work on a show synced to pre-recorded stuff using midi commands like the "wait on step" command, if we need to switch from serial command to standalone mode evertime we make changes!!!!!) Thanks Dirk PS This is on Win XP pro, using the onboard MPU402 controller
