I am having difficulty getting the LanBox LCE to "talk" to my MacBook Pro (OS-X, 10.5) at the sametime I have an Airport connect to the Internet. If I configure the Mac via Network Preferences to use Airport (DHCP automatic IP address), the Mac is assigned a local IP address in the 198.168.1.X range. My understanding was that this would be enough -- that I could then address the LanBox LCE on its default address of 198.168.1.77 The above does not work, however. To "talk" to the LanBox LCE successfully, I find that I have to manually assign an IP address to the Built-In Ethernet connection, say something like 198.168.1.2. Then I can address the LanBox LCE interface on its default address successfully. However, now the Airport connection no longer works. Is there a way to have my Airport connection to the Internet and my connection to the LanBox LCE working simultaneously. FYI, I am connecting the LanBox LCE directly to my Mac on the supplied Ethernet cable -- I am not using an intervening hub. Thanks for any help! James Nevin
