Thanks Fokko,
I did (try to) browse the archive AND read the tutorial AND printed out
the reference manuals but I didn't find anything about the syntax of the
LCM inputs, sorry (the archives are very uncomforfortable to browse btw,
I sort of gave up and tried the easy way, asking here.....There's a huge
lot of useful info in there, for sure, but well.....).
So this:
go .1 if input 1 is within 512-max // keep looping while switch is open
is better. Hmmm, OK. I'll figure out something else for the rest,
because your example will (I think) continously trigger the machine as
long as it's not heating, what I want is a cue I can insert in the
control cuelist whenever I need 5 sec's of smoke and not more, but that
easy to do now that I have the correct syntax (though if you could
specify exactly which values the box allocates to "open" and "closed"
states, that would be great. (switch closed=512, anything else=switch
open?))
Dirk
