It sounds OK, but as you have 1 fixture on 2 sets of DMX adresses, I 
assume you did not make the fixture via the library editor.

A normal fixture placed on the stage get's automatically a free set 
of light channels 1:1 patched to DMX slots. In your case it looks 
like you placed the same fixture again, so it get's two sets of light 
channels. Please read the chapter about stage and library in the 
tutorial, or via our experimental
