If you setup your airport correctly, all other computers should be in
auto setup. You don't need to change anything whether you have an
internet connection or not.
However the best solution, since we play concerts, meaning move to
different places (and yes, still have to communicate between the
different computers and even sometimes have to download this or that
from the internet) would be some way which does not need to change the
airport-base settings but only those on our computers (or just change
the LanBox TCP/IP ?)
If you setup your airport (or any wireless modem), as:
1. it should do network translation (NAT).
2. it has a fixed IP of 192.168.1.1, mask 255.255.255.0
3. turn on DHCP server with address range e.g. 192.168.1.100 - 0192.168.1.200
Any auto setup computer will get an address in the 1-200 range.
Any fixed IP device can use address 2-99
You don't need to change anything anymore, unless you work without the airport.
