Using SMPTE is very cumbersome, as you need to do things at two different places: 1. In your audio software you need to add SMPTE, and note all the interesting time codes to trigger cues. 2. In the LanBox you need to create special time code cues, using all trigger points from 1. Placing MIDI controllers (Program change) at the right places in an audio track is far more easier to create.
