Hi Blair, thanks a lot, I see what you mean, affirmative the looping method, it does seem to lend itself quite beautifully for live applications I am working on an installation, where sound and lights are synchronized, more of a classic linear composition. trying like you to find a way for more intuitive access to the Lanbox. To address fixtures directly through Note On's / velocity values for my current project is the preferable mode, rather than triggering cue lists or stepping through cue lists through bank & program changes, where you need to switch focus between the LcEdit and the Audio sequencer. The 'include LcEdit" method does address though the Note Off issue, as you are triggering the LanBox on its "Meta" level. Plus level qualities like "transparency" etc. can be utilized too. So for everything more complex thats a good way to go. in regards to controlling Note Off's I, am struggling at the moment with what seems to be either a bug in Logic or myself having lost it.., too often the entire MIDI output from my lanbox-instrument vanishes, and I have to rebuild everything from scratch, very strange..., so couldn't check yet on the reliability of the Note Off" Controller 65 = 127 that Jon mentioned when used within Logic. best Kurt
