[LCtalk] Where are the cuelists?

Hello,
and thank you for anwering so fast & correctly to my latest question!

Now I wonder about the cuelists.  When I have erased the LanBox and 
opened my project, I thought the old cuelists where ready.  But they 
appear only after restoring from the backup.  Is the backup file only 
possibility to keep them safe?  In the tutorial it is said "you can also 
backup", but not that it is a must.
