[LCtalk] Go and next step through UDP?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a way to send a go or next step to the lanbox (lcx) 
through udp? Right now I have to use midi to do it,but it means using an 
extra computer to receive midi through a network (in my current 
installation). I would find sending cues through udp a lot more usefull.
