[LCtalk] Midi control of an LCE through LCedit+?

Hello,
This is probably a dumb question, but is it possible to send midi 
commands to an LCE through LCedit+? I've been able to control my lanbox 
like a wizard with my Wiimote (through Darwiinremote) by mapping the 
hotkeys of LCedit+ to the buttons, but wishing to use the 
accelerometer-based midi messages that are available with the Wii to 
Midi program, as well as use my good 'ole DW8000 as a controller. Must I 
upgrade to an LCX, or is midi translation possible for the LCE using 
LCedit?
