SubjectRe: [LCtalk] Transparent Mix Modes Thru MIDI

I'm sure I'm sending to the correct engine & that MIDI mapping is correct. I wish I could run LCedit at the same time to visualize what is going on in the LCM. I'm using Logic to sync midi commands to music. I'm always unplugging MIDI and hooking up serial and them rebooting the LanBox every time I need to tweak a cuelist. Then unplug and plug MIDI back in and reboot the LanBox again.

I have a colored light (say blue) on a lower layer and am wanting to fade the next higher layer from red to nothing (not black) reveling the blue color on the lower layer. The end result would look like a simple fade from blue to red and back again. When in LCedit it works fine if a set the lower layer (blue layer) to a transparency with a depth of about 90%. But when controlling through MIDI I get strange results. The most typical is that it looks like the red fade in properly over the blue layer but when fading out the red just shuts off with no fade blinking right back to blue again.
