[LCtalk] Transparent Mix Modes Thru MIDI

Hello,

All my other MIDI Light sequencing seem to be working fine... i.e. 
running cuelists on different layers (engines) and pausing some engines 
and stepping them thru the sequence in time with the music.

I'm having trouble setting an engine to a transparent mix mode thru 
MIDI.

I can set it to transparent thru LCedit and it works just the way I 
want.
But when I switch over to MIDI and set controller 71 to a value of 3 
(transparent) the engine doesn't act the way it did thru LCedit. I can 
tell that the mode is changing to something different but it's not what 
I saw when working in LCedit.

I also tried setting controller 99 (trans. depth) to a value consistent 
with what I was using thru LCedit but it didn't make any difference.

Could you point me in the write direction?
