I my understanding there is something like a layer transparency. .....
This means that every layer is a kind of submaster. If I could tell
you where the transparency can be found I would but I don't know.
Transparencies (from my experiments) allow you to fade between two
settings. The setting in the higher layer and the lower-mixer value.
However, they are not submasters, which allow proportional fading of a
given value. For example, if the channel values for 1, 2 and 3 are set
to 120, 210 and 80, then a submaster at 50% would pass channel values of
60, 105 and 40. Likewise at 20%, 24, 42 and 16. Note, they all hit zero
together as well as their set value. This does not happen with the
Master in the control window.
