I my understanding there is something like a layer transparency. I can 
not find this in the program but it exists in the hardware. It can be 
called with midi or tcp/ip. The result is like the submaster I think. 
But the guys from CDS know that the best.

This means that every layer is a kind of submaster. If I could tell you 
where the transparency can be found I would but I don't know.
