There is a Perl tool to clone the LanBox firmware/software called LcFlashDump (can be downloaded from http://www.lanbox.com/downloads/downloads.html#other). It creates a "firmware" image file, including all lighting cues, layer settings, etc. It excludes box settings like IP, name, etc, and can be uploaded into another box, just a normal firmware.

Unless this has been updated this is a MAC-OSX ONLY script as it uses a mac binary to xmodem down the image file.

Correct, it contains lrzsz compiled for Mac OS X. With minor editing the script contained in the package (Contents/Resources/lctool.pl) would probably also work on linux if you make sure Time::HiRes and lrzsz are installed, and maybe even on Windows if lrzsz works there at all.

I still have making the script work on app platforms (by removing the dependency on lrzsz) on my "To Do" list, but many many things have a much higher priority right now.
