Hi Patrick,

I've tried to do what you discribe, run a simple show with some lights 
and a few moving heads. Just easy fades, nothing complicated.  Yes, 
LanBox can do that, but it takes a long time to get the hang of it. The 
learning curve is steep, the manual(s) very complicated. This is 
software for computer-hobbyists. I just want easy to use software and 
run a show. After a few month I put my LanBox on a shelf. The LanBox 
software is just not made for theatres, which is a pitty, as the 
hardware is so good. My advice: don't use it, look around some more, 
there is a lot of soft- and hardware that is more suitable for theatres, 
with better manuals and cheaper.
