Hello all, Earlier today, a new version of Lassi was released. In this new version, a MIDI control surface with motorized faders (such as the Behringer BCF2000), can be used to speed up setting channel or submaster levels while creating Lanbox cue scenes. A demo of this new feature can be found at http://www.lassi.be/demos/MidiControl.htm, and a further description is at http://www.lassi.be/manual/ui/midiControl.html. Lassi (Lighting Assistant, or Lanbox Assistant) is free software intended to help in programming Lanbox cue lists in theatre environments. The software is still under development, but was already successfully used on several real live theatre projects. Lassi also includes an embedded web server. You can include Lanbox LayerGo commands in web pages that you create yourself and make available through this web server. You can find some example web pages under the web/root directory in the Lassi distribution. Start the Lassi web server using the menu option "Windows > Tryout > Start Web Server" from the Lassi main window, and open http://localhost from your browser. I am not sure if this functionality is a possible answer to the web application questions that were asked earlier in this list. Regards, Marc
