I hope you are not confusing layers with groups here.
A group can contain 4 different dimmerchannels, but is stricktly a LCedit+ action and can not be controlled with DMX-in.
A layer is a just a place where you can activate any channel, the whole range of channels can be recalled in any layer.


But if I understand correctly, you want to use for example channel 1 on your mixer, and use that to controll the output of e.g. ch3, ch7, ch56 and ch112?

I have never tried that, but it sound very interesting! In that way I could group the colors or gobo's of my intelligent fixtures under one fader for easy live tweaking.
I know it can be done in the conventional desks, so I would not be surprised if the lanbox can do the same.


Has anyone tried before?
