[LCtalk] trackball vs grid?

would it be a difficult feature request to implement an optional grid 
style moving light pan/tilt option (like lightjockey, and the path 
creator in lcedit)?  for example maybe next to the trackball could be a 
grid button or some such, that you could also assign pan and tilt?
