After a show last night I say someone doing very neat things with Arkaos. It is a program for VJ's. The person in question did the mixing with an external midi keyboard (every key stands for a short movie) and mixed a very nice show. Ik was interested in the program and after some research I noticed that this program can also be used with DMX input, instead of midi! The method sould be someting like this: The first (mac) computer running LCedit is connected to the lanbox. Another computer connected to the beamer using Enttec usb - dmx converter (http://www.enttec.com/index.php?main_menu=Products&prod=70304&show=description&name=dmxusbpro) is connected to the lanbox with DMX. A different computer is needed because of the cpu and gpu intensive workload of Arkaos. So if I open dmx channel (on the first computer with LCedit) let say 100, and in Arkaos I configured to play a short movie when dmx 100 is opened, will it work?? Has anybody any experience with this setup, or something like this?? I am very excited about this and I hope to hear if this is possible so I can invest in the full version of Arkaos and this enttec usb - dmx converter. Kind regards, Wouter Nagel
