To quote my previous post:

An LCX in this state only accepts connections via USB, not via network.

An LCE will be reset to IP address 192.168.1.77.

So the connectivity in this state depends on which model of lanbox you have, which I didn't know.


For the LCE you should (provided the network connection is okay and your computer's network settings are set correctly) be able to reach it using LCedit+ at the ip address 192.168.1.77.

btw, in the terminal, you abort a ping-process (and indeed many other kinds of processes) using control-C.
