An LCX in this state only accepts connections via USB, not via network. So the connectivity in this state depends on which model of lanbox you have, which I didn't know. For the LCE you should (provided the network connection is okay and your computer's network settings are set correctly) be able to reach it using LCedit+ at the ip address 192.168.1.77. btw, in the terminal, you abort a ping-process (and indeed many other kinds of processes) using control-C. -- Matthijs van Duin -- May the Forth be with you!
