SubjectRe: [LCtalk] Control surfaces

Very possible that it can be done within Max?

I did made a Max/MSP patch 2 years ago to work especially with the Behringer BCF2000 and the Lanbox.
It directly controls one Layer of the Lanbox via UDP (Network).

Every fader is a master-fader for a static scene of 32 channels (such a scene is a Max/MSP scene. Don't confuse it with a Lanbox-Scene or a Lanbox-Cue). The button above a fader will flash this scene. If you wanna edit a scene you have to press the top button (above a fader). This will change the control surface to "edit mode", where you can change the intensity of the 32 channels with the faders. You can switch the group of channels with the 4 buttons on the lower right: 1-8, 9-16, 17-24, 25-32. To exit "edit mode" you have to press the same button (above the fader) again.

There are some more features like a display panel for the computer monitor, where you can label the faders. Or XML-file load and save. Its working on OSX and Windows.

We use this since 2 years in our club for live concerts and it works quite well.

BUT
with this software it's not possible (yet) to really interact with a Lanbox! You only manually control one layer with this. The rest is done with LCedit.

If someone who owns a BCF2000 and a Lanbox would like to try it -> I can upload it to my web-server. But I can't give support at the moment, first I have to pass my exams. In 2 month, these exams are over.

regards,
Sam
