2007/6/16, Fokko van Duin:
v [down]
v [up]
return [down]
return [up]

Does above mean that its sending all chars twice?

No, the macro maker actually records the state of the key (up or down), so you can record keycombinations.

Why not made a keystroke e.g. ctrl-F1 (one stroke) = nc;l7 Now x-keys only need to send one key to select your fixtures and select layer. Now send a v and arrows up/down (with or without shift) to raise lower the DMX values.

This is I think a lot better!

It's a pity that u, v, x, y are not CLI keys, we will look into that.
I would like that you can make a single stroke key with nc;l7;v so you only need to send arrows after this stroke :-)

That would make things a lot easier and faster yes!
For now, next time I can try to create a macro with the keystroke and 'v'. That would ease things up, and is not spitting out a bunch of keystrokes ;o)

This actually worked at first, but then something strange happened, and LC-edit resulted an exeptional error.
I forgot to make a printscreen and needed to go on.

Please next time, note the error numbers, so we can have a look. The reason is possible that normally keys are typed relatively slow, while in your case a whole bunch of keys are spit out maybe way too fast.

I will next time, which of course I hope will never happen again!
