Yes, resetting to factory default is a last resort, and this is the 
exact procedure:

1. Turn of power, and open the top of the box (top 4 screws).
2. Press, and -keep pressed- the inside button.
3. While still pressed, power up, and keep pressed for at least 20 secs.
4. Remove power, and power up again, you should be able to connect 
now with LCedit+. Note that a LanBox-LCX can only be connected then 
via USB!
5. With LCedit+, do a firmware upload v2.07 for your LanBox type.


After reset, the LanBox-LCX/LCE is set to default IP=192.168.1.77, 
and password is 777
