You can't remove the password (pincode), but a LCedit+ let you, it's a know bug in LCedit+ (solved in LCedit+ v3.4.1 beta, see archive).



I open the lanbox and turned it on while pressing the button the display was showing "abrt" for a while then after a few seconds it started to blink fast

after this operation my lanbox gets stuck on "boot" whenever I turn it on...

Yes, as you erased everything, including the LCE firmware!


Use LCedit+ to connect to 192.168.1.77, and use menu Firmware Upload to install v2.07 firmware. After the upload it ask twice for the password; type 777
