No, macros are just basic LanBox commands, but send to the box on e.g. a button pressed. Macro's are built-in LCedit+ as a scroll list with Run button, but in LCedit for Palm there are pages of buttons special made to execute a macro instant. We also have examples of web pages with buttons, which work just like macros. So there are many ways to control a LanBox. 3. Write a control cue, so that you can select your cues with the next/previous keys. In IR menu 5 you have the left/right keys (forward/rev) which do prev/next cue step (or cue if you have set option 1). Normally this means that you can step through your cues, and don't need to use the play/numbers/play. If you want to scroll through several chases/sweeps, or other multi-step cues, it can be handy to use a control cue. So with menu 5 set to e.g. layer C, running control cue 10 which looks like: // Cuelist 10 (10 steps), loaded 07-03-2007 13:00 go 002 001: hold for ever go 55.3 in layer A hold for ever go 90.13 in layer A hold for ever go 98.1 in layer A hold for ever 002: go 20.1 in layer A go 001 Once this cue runs in C, you can only choose to start chases/cues 55.3, 90.13, 98.1, or 20.1 in layer A, just with the next/prev IR keys in layer C. Many other combinations are possible.
