I have just finish programmed my LanBox and also have assign an IR romote to control it... but i find it a hassle when i used the IR controller... I takes too much step to just trigger a show. (ie) to start a Cuelist show 05.01... i need to following steps.

1) press "5" to sellect [PL A]

Do a Save LanBox (or Rec key), so it will always be in 5, layer A after power up.

2) press "Play" to enter new play list code. [0501] (4 digit code)
3) press "play" again to exit
4) press "right" to run the Cuelist.

Yes, the method is simple, but takes a few key strokes.

sigh... and I'm was just wondering... is there any way that i can wirte a macro in the LanBox to do the following?

No, the firmware does not support macros, but there are several options to achieve the same:

1. Use a programmable IR remote which can do macros.
2. If you have a LanBox-LCX or LCE, use WIFI and LCedit for PDA; You have up to 150 Macro buttons.
3. Write a control cue, so that you can select your cues with the next/previous keys.

Or is there any way i can find out what DMX value is for what function located in Cuelist 999?

Those are key values, so you can assign any key to a function, but you can not create new functions or macros.
