Be sure that the usbmodem is removed from the intenet connections list, as it's possible that OSX tries to connect to the Internet using the usbmodem. Also if you use FAX receive, be sure it's not using usbmodem. It appears that the "usbmodem0000207D1" address keeps changing to different strings after "usbmodem....." Hmm, this means the USB device (the LanBox, the Mac or connection between them) has been reset. This can only happen with a bad cable, bad USB hub, the LanBox has lost power, or did a restart. Just to rule out some things: This happens even when the LanBox is my only connected peripheral. There seems to be no consistency with actions on my part causing a disconnect, regardless of other programs running or not, whether I've been interacting with fixtures or not. If the LanBox does a restart (DMX output goes off for about 20 sec), it could be that a cue is damaged and causes the restart. The solution is to backup all your LanBox data, erase the box, restore your backup, and do a save LanBox data. If your LanBox does not a restart, it must be something in your Macintosh (see also above). I hope this helps, -- Fokko van Duin, CDS advanced technology bv, http://www.lanbox.com/
