I would not recommend a Palm Vx, it's old, slow, and has no WIFI; you 
need a Palm (or WinCE) device with WIFI wireless built-in. I use e.g. 
a Palm Tungsten C, but I also have an AXIM (Dell) X30 with StyleTap. 
The Palm Tungsten C is very fast, and last very long on a battery 
charge.

You can use any router with WIFI access point; I use Apple Airport 
Express or Old Apple airport.
