I too reported similar behaviour to this last year (20 Jul 2006)

Fokko and I have finally been able to reproduce live-editing problems, and have some idea of what's going on.

The problem has to do with desynchronization of the actual state of the layer with the state of the cuelist editor in LCedit+. The problem occurs only live edit mode, when going from a step that currently (in the stored version of the cuelist) is already a scene, to a step that currently already exists but *isn't* a scene, such a comment step.

We'll obviously dig into this to see how we can fix this.

For now, you'll have to pay attention to what's happening in the cuelist editor under these circumstances. What is shown in the cuelist editor is what's actually stored, regardless of what the layer is doing.

If your cuelist consists only of scene steps, or only of non-scene steps, this problem won't occur. Likewise you can avoid this bug by doing blind editing or using the single-step editor.
