its a good start to have created a "public" wiki, but I think it would
be better this special WIKI is located on cds's server and is secured by
loggins for users only.
Lanbox know how is not a know how which is either interesting for
anybody nor is it good to have it free to access for anybody - not to
forget, that you also can edit mistakes and trash into it! and this will
spoil the whole idea
Maybe you are right. I have not opened the wiki for input. It is possible
to have the wiki locked. But you are right if you say its better to have
it at CDS.
what the software is concerned it seems to me that you want to establish
something like LINUX where anybody who is able to can improve or extend
the system - may be this is a way to skin the cat too, but I think, to
start with a secure WIKI is the first step! this will in time take off
much workload from Fokko and Matthijs, I am sure about.
You are right if you see it that way. Like opensource software. It a
option if there are people. It does not have to be a product right away.
But it is nice to do.
