Would CDS be willing to host a wiki manual site?
I'm not a power user but I do have 2 LCXs installed in 2 venues and may
go with another one or two in some newer venues we're working on. I'm a
little nervous about exploring too far because at this point I only
understand enough to get myself into trouble. I'm afraid that if I go
exploring new features I'm going to mess things up and not be able to
fix them. I'd love to have something to read so I can learn more about
features I'm not currently using. I'd also like to have something to
refer to when I get myself into trouble.
On another front; because email is so impersonal we tend to write things
we wouldn't be comfortable saying to someone directly. Don't forget
that these guys work very hard to support their product. Yes, there are
a few frustrating things that we users live with but there are ways to
communicate issues without being nasty; that isn't the way we would want
people dealing with us and it isn't productive; being mean won't compel
others to see your side of the argument.
