O, that's simple, first, Vista wasn't there yet or anyway I hadn't 
heard of it when I bought the Lanbox. And I'm still not buying it 
since the software runs on Windows, I prefer the Mac, allthough I 
could run Windows on my Mac. They're working on a Mac version but it 
remains to be seen if that is ever going to be there.

But a comparison between the Lanbox and Vista is not a good one, 
Jands Vista is a lot more expensive, a dongle for 128 channels cost 
410 euros, 510 channels 1228 euros. I merely mentioned it that it is 
also possible to write intuitive software, with a good manual.

Fokko van Duin does not want to make a good manual because it would 
cost a lot of money. He talks about brochures and fantastic manuals. 
It doesn't have to be like that, there was even someone who offered a 
trainee who could do the job as part of their technical training. I 
think that's a great idea! Why not jump to that, Fokko and Matthijs? 
And we don't need a glossy brochure, it can be a pdf. file. How 
expensive can that be? No, I think it's just stuberness of 
technicians who think they have made the perfect thing and don't want 
other boys to touch their toys.

"We think that all improvements are of more importance then the 
perfect documentation" says Fokko. Looking at some of the reactions 
you can conclude that not everybody thinks about it that way.

Even the most possitive lanbox users say that the manual is very 
confusing.

So, Matthijs and Fokko, climb of your high horses and give somebody 
else a chance to work on a manual. Preferably somebody with less 
technical background, so that it is also understandible for dummies 
like me.
