What I use the LanBox for is to talk to DMX devices from PC software, and it's super easy to do so. however it was a chore to figure out how, and the complexity of the manual has kept me from even bothering to learn to use layers. But as a programmer I know that a complete manual is a huge task, and to be really good has to be written by someone other than myself. I can't help already knowing how the software works. Basically I totally agree with this supposition. And yes it would probably be economically worthwhile to spend a couple of months making a great manual, the product is good enough to warrant spending the time on it. with what appears to be a number of assumptions made in the manual by the engineer/designer/programmer
