I've edited a previous post to clarify and bring more detail to what I was writing. Here's the edit:

I'll add briefly that I figured out how to make the lanbox work for my needs and I'm glad I bought it. That being said, it seems the manual was written by the engineer/designer.

Without a technical writer, and with what appears to be a number of assumptions made in the manual by the engineer/designer/programmer, the product is harder to learn than it needs to be.

In my opinion, the potential income lost because of that is HUGE compared to what it would cost to hire a good technical writer and publish a well designed manual. The income potential of an easy to learn Lcedit/Lanbox should justify the investment in writing and publishing a good manual. But that hasn't happened yet. However it is common for engineers to try to write manuals without a technical writer and this is usually the result.

The interface is decent but needs polishing in order to be easier, more intuitive and faster to learn. These are just a few observations off the top of my head. NOT a list of complaints, just just a list of reasons why I feel a more refined intuitive interface would help the product sell more and put more money in Fokko & the company pocket (which they definitely deserve).
