One feature common on several lighting desks, is the ability to connect an audio feed and use this for various lighting effects such as using the bass to trigger steps in a chase, or using the audio signal to generate a 'sound to light' pattern with different states being triggered on different frequency bands within the audio. Is it possible to achieve the same thing with a LANbox (LCX)? Ideally, this would use the audio input of the controlling PC, and provide an option for audio activated chase in LC-Edit. I haven't seen this in the current version but maybe it's something that can go on the list for a future release. In the meantime, is there another way of doing it? I don't have any other show software at present but would consider a utility of some sort if it could do it. I am particularly interested in doing a bass chase for a forth coming show. Thanks, Jason
