Yes if it's a RGB DMX display (LED RGB panels). Actually you can 
paste a picture (or drop a picture file) onto the control of any 
group of fixtures. With RGB fixtures the pixels are set to the photo 
pixels, else it's intensity only.

pixel studio" project file.

BTW With Isadora or MAX/MSP + Jitter, you can convert real-time video 
to RGB DMX.
