I'm also in the middle of programming some LEDs and I came across this
program called LightController. It looks perfect for your LED panels.
The only thing is I have not been able to get it going. It is probably
because it is looking for a USB to serial connection to the lanbox.

It is open source so maybe someone out there can update it.
