Well if you place RGB fixtures on the stage, you can use the pattern 
generator to generate basic effect. I tried with a 6x7 RGB array and 
got a (sort of) waterfall chase in a few minutes.

I set the LED panel to the pattern of a frozen image (you can paste a 
6x7 picture) in edit mode, and used the pattern generator to create 
the chase of 7 shifted 6x7 images, all with a fade time of 1s and a 
hold time of 1s.

Even CMY gives different colors, it's easy playing with the pattern 
generator after pasting a basic image as the first step of the chase.
