Yes, it's set once the channels are cleared.

If you can generate MTC, you can also use the MTC clock for the music parts.
I am using the dataport on the back of the LCX to emulate a 'fader
start' command direct into the back of the CD player. The cue generates
a 100ms 5v->0v->5v pulse on one of the pins. The CD starts to play
within 1ms of the leading edge of the pulse. Simplicity itself - no
extra hardware (other than the plugs & wires) needed!!!
Above is a nice example of a clean show control cue!
