I have a mac powerbook, a pc laptop, and an LCX. I'd like to use "Capture" on my PC and program on my Mac with the LCX connected to both or through a network. Is that possible and if so, how?

Yes, just connect all three to a single Ethernet network, make sure their IP addresses are properly configured, and it should work. If your network is isolated (not connected to anything else) then a basic setup is as follows:

 - Leave the LCX at default IP settings (ip 192.168.1.77)
 - Configure the Mac and PC to 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3 respectively
 - All of them should have "subnet mask" 255.255.255.0
 - No router/gateway configured

If your network is not isolated, but connected to other things (such as the internet) then a different configuration may be needed, and the details would vary.

Alternatively, you can also connect only the PC to the LCX via Ethernet (since Capture needs this), but connect the Mac to the LCX via USB.
