This sounds as a power lost, as your stage went black (the box was rebooted, and it was saved with a black stage).
I would advice using an UPS, use Ethernet (TCP/IP) instead of USB (USB is NOT galvanic isolated). Just to get it right, are you saying that I SHOULD use TCP/IP if I use a UPS? And only use USB if I bypass the UPS? I am not sure what you mean with "lost audio/midi sync on Logic", but if a MIDI connection is lost temporary, you get problems with MIDI "running status". If you always send first a bank select (controller 0), and then a program change, it can never get out of sync with the running status system of MIDI. The whole audio/midi sync seems to be the only problem I have with Logic. Basically Logic somehow loses internal sync between the two and the midi cuts out and after awhile, the audio stops playing. This happened just before the lights went black and the LCedit lost communication with the LCX. Right now I use a Cont "0" at the beginning of a set and use Cont 53 for cuelist followed by cont 86 for cue. Should I also place a Cont 0 value 127 before each 53/86 cont? That would give me 3 cont commands for each cue. BTW If you do a save LanBox data with layer(s) set to a "basic" lighting, you prevent a total black out after reset. That makes a lot of sense. I've saved with a blackout so that dimmers wouldn't come on when I power up. I'll change that tonjght. Thanks
