SubjectRe: [LCtalk] Submaster Faders?

Dnarbrough,

I once experimented with using the Peavey PC1600 X for control, sending program change commands but I found it a bit limiting for live event lighting because of the limited number of buttons. I never worked out a way of using the faders successfully at the same time. Any ideas anyone??

On the PC1600x, I often use sliders 1-15 for light channels (or multiple channels by putting multiple commands in a single hex string). Then I set Slider 16 as a Master Fader for Sliders 1-15. This then allows you to use that slider of a master for the other 15 sliders. You could also have multiple "master faders" set up that way.

Might help accomplish what you are trying to do also.
