Hey, Cause maybe diagnosed. It took me some time to setup my network and insert a sniffer. I can provide the capture file on simple request. Apparently my DLINK Wireless Router 624+ sends out some UDP frames for SSDP (Simple Service Discovery Protocol - used for UPnP on your network) on a regular basis. I don't know why but the second series is killing the TCP/IP stack of the Lanbox. For reading the trace: 192.168.123.222 Lanbox 192.168.123.102 Workstation 192.168.123.254 Wireless Router 192.168.123.103 Ethereal Station 192.168.123.242 Slimserver The capture file contains the frames captured from a moment the box was not responding anymore, then I rebooted the box and you will see appear a ping and UDP frames broadcast (Frame 130 - first column - indicates the restart of the Lanbox; Frame 141 example of a UDP frame from the LanBox). Frames 346 and following contain the first series of SSDP packets, which is survived (as can be seen from the following packets). Frames 843 and following are the next series of SSDP packets and voila Lanbox no longer responds. I have tried this multiple times to be sure and each time after the second series of SSDP packets the Lanbox stops responding. I've looked into the configuration of my router whether I could disable this feature but didn't find any option. Over to the developers? Regards, Eric Christensen
