Make a cue with a stop chase as first step, and just Go to it. The example below kills our demo chase 401, softly in 10 sec to all zeros:


// Cuelist 7 (2 steps), loaded 28-03-2006 11:21
  set layer to stop chaser
  show d02 for ever, crossfading for 10s
