I should be getting my Lanbox today but won't be able to use it until Monday. My LD can get his hands on a Precept lightboard and I'm hoping to speed up programming with this. I'm not sure how that works. I assume that you run the DMX line from the board to the Lanbox. From there I have to go to a Gray DMX - AMX converter for my main CD80 dimmers. So from there, I'd set a scene up on the Precept. How do I store that and assign it on the Lanbox? I don't see any buttons/switches on it. And once it's there, can I edit it using the LCedit app from my Mac? I assume that LCedit will store and retrieve cues from the Lanbox. I'm assuming that this can be done but my LD's asking me this and I can't give him an informed answer. "I think it will work" just doesn't cut it. :)
