They are working here on XP and OSX, but be sure the width is a 
multiple of 12 or 16! Try this:
Inside the LCedit+ tutorial folder there is an images folder, there 
you will find two bmp files: shuttericons.bmp (12x12), and 
coloricons.bmp (16x16). If I drag them onto the Edit Iconstrip window 
they are accepted.
