I have played with the bitmaps a bit and I struggled too. I finally got 
it to work but found that 12x12 bitmaps did not work (I got a file size 
error) and only 16x16 would work - strange.

I had a fixture with 30+ different colours available and various built 
in chases so I created an icon strip with 30 shades in it and then 
another one with the numbers 1 to 10 for the chases. It looks quite good 
now but took ages to work it out.

Anyway, notwithstanding all that, perhaps if a few example .bmp files 
were put up on the website, it might make life easier - what do you 
think?
