The fastest way to create iconstrips is by copy them from the current collection. There is one big image file LCeditIcons at http://www.lanbox.com/downloads/downloads.html#other In a pixel editor (e.g. PhotoShop) open this image and make a new image of 12 or 16 pixels height, and n times the height for the width. Now copy each wanted icon (16x16 or 12x12) into the strip side by side. The left most will be the first icon counted from DMX value 0. The strip must have a width of a multiple of the height. When you have all icons for a wheel or button in the strip, copy and paste it into the Iconstrip of the library editor. You also may save the strip, and drag the file onto the icon strip dialog. When the strip is pasted, the icons are automatically assigned to a part of the 0-255 DMX range. In almost all cases, you need to change it to the DMX table of the fixture manufacturer. For buttons, keep in mind that you may assign multiple icons to the same button in order to get animated icons (as for speed). Also with the continuous option, icons slide instead of jump. This e.g. useful if gobos or color wheels have a continuous mode. I hope this helps a bit, more info can also be found in the tutorial :-) Regards, Fokko van Duin, CDS advanced technology bv, http://www.lanbox.com/
